Another Sunday, Another Naive Weekly — Observations From The Internet Wilderness.
Dear reader,
Sun-bleached overhangs in pastel colors cover overgrown potted plants on balconies stretching from edge to edge of the low-rise buildings with rooftop terraces. Pick-up trucks circle around the hilly streets, calling in tired megaphones for scrap metal, retired furniture and dismissed belongings.
The pavements are occupied by parked cars, fallen citrus fruits, crackled tiles, and generous food portions for the neighborhood cats. We are now tenants of Koukaki, Athens. People have lived here for possibly five thousand years, and it feels like a solarpunk jungle dream.
